2 Delicious Coffee Dessert Recipes That Anyone Can Make

You and a few of your friends are planning a get together this weekend. You are being tasked with coming up with the food. You want something that is delicious after working out hard on your cable machine every day during the week. Snacks are easy but you’re not having as much luck with the desserts.

Coffee and dessert are like a match made in heaven. Why not combine them? You can use coffee to make creamy pies, chilling ice cream, and delectable cookies that are perfect for every occasion.

Are you not the best baker in the world? Don’t worry there are plenty of easy coffee dessert recipes that you can try out. Keep reading to see a few of them.

TIRAMISU

Tiramisu is the one dessert that everyone thinks of when you mention coffee. It's a delicious classic. Grab a medium saucepan and whisk together 6 egg yolks with 3/4 cups of sugar until it's combined.

Add in 2/3 cup of milk and cook it over medium heat. Keep stirring because milk can curdle and burn and you don't want that in your cake. Keep at it until the liquid boils.

Take it off the burner, cover it nice tight, and then stick it in the fridge for an hour. While you wait, beat 1 1/4 cup of heavy whipping cream with 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla until peaks form. Take the yolk mixture out of the fridge and mix in 1 pound of mascarpone cheese.

Set it to the side and grab a smaller bowl. You will combine 1/4 cup of your strongest coffee brew and 2 tablespoons of rum together. Grab a 3-ounce package of ladyfingers and split them longways.

Soak them in the coffee mixture and then from there its sort of like a lasagna. You'll put half of the soaked ladyfingers down in a dish, do a layer of half the cheese mixture on top of that, and then half of the whipped cream. Repeat this process and then top it with cocoa powder.

MOCHA TRUFFLE CHEESECAKE

Cheesecake and coffee. What more could you ask for right? Grab a large bowl and combine a package of devil's food cake mix with 6 tablespoons of melted butter, a large egg, and up to 3 tablespoons of instant coffee granules.

Once it's mixed you'll sort of use it as you would a graham cracker crust. Press it to the bottom and sides of a greased springform pan. Grab a second large bowl to create the filling.

Beat 2 packages of cream cheese until it's good and well, creamy. Add in a can of sweetened condensed milk and 2 cups of melted semi-sweet chocolate chips. Grab a separate bowl and dissolve about 6 tablespoons of instant coffee granules in water.

Add this into the cream cheese mixture as well. Throw in your 3 large eggs and once everything is combined you can pour into the pan. Put the pan on a baking sheet and then pop it in the oven.

Bake it for about 50 minutes and take it out to chill overnight. When you're ready to serve it make a whip cream mixture out of a cup of heavy whipping cream, 1/4 cup of confectioners sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract to spread over the cake.
